Streetfighter V2, a green that blends into the environment

ROME – Ducati brings a new touch of color to the Streetfighter V2 range with the introduction of the “Storm Green” livery which will be available in dealerships starting next July. The metallic green color chosen by the Borgo Panigale style center enhances the clean, sharp and essential lines of the Streetfighter V2, reinforcing the unique character of the sports naked. The particular matte finish matches well with the chromatic ensemble of the mechanical part, while the metallic grain creates a very evident play of contrasts on the different surfaces. The Streetfighter V2 is dedicated to riders who want a bike capable of combining the sporty DNA of the Panigale V2 with the driving attitude and style typical of the Streetfighter family. It is an intuitive and easy-to-manage model with the right power to guarantee performance that will satisfy both the most savvy and less experienced riders, thanks to the complete electronic package that allows you to enjoy the bike in safety. The management electronics include Abs Cornering in the Evo version, Traction Control Evo 2, Wheelie Control Evo, Ducati Quick Shift up / down Evo 2, and Engine Brake Control Evo, to which are added three Riding Modes (Sport, Road, Wet) with specific calibrations of the controls. The Streetfighter V2, with a dry weight of 178 kg, is powered by the 955 cc Superquadro engine, the backbone of all the mechanics, with a power of 153 HP and a torque of 101.4 Nm, directly derived from the Panigale V2.

Ergonomics focuses on the rider by focusing on road use with the right mix of sportiness and comfort, with the high and wide aluminum handlebars that replace the more racing half-handlebars of the Panigale V2. We then find a wider saddle with a new padding that makes it more comfortable, while the footpegs have been repositioned to increase comfort. Thanks to these changes, the driver benefits from a driving position that allows great control in sporty driving, and at the same time not to tire in everyday use. The equipment is completed by the 43 mm Showa Bpf front fork and the rear shock absorber from the specialist Sachs with dedicated calibration to make the bike more comfortable on the road, and easily settable for riding on the track. The braking system is the same as the Panigale V2, equipped with Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers with 320 mm diameter discs, while the adoption of less aggressive pads favors road use. The Streetfighter V2 in the new Storm Green colorway with black rims and red tags is added to the sporty Ducati Red livery, typical of the Bolognese brand and can be customized with various Ducati Performance accessories designed to enhance the look and specific performance of this naked.
