From the early hours of this morning, in the provinces of Milan and Monza Brianza, the carabinieri have been carrying out 24 arrests as part of an investigation into the murder of a 21-year-old stabbed in a violent gang fight on 29 September 2021. The arrests, as reported by the Provincial Command of Milan, were triggered against 5 minors (of which 2 recipients in prison, 2 for placement in the community and 1 for the obligation to stay at home) and 19 adults (of which 7 recipients of custody in prison and 12 under house arrest), held to be responsible “for various reasons, for complicity in murder, aggravated brawl, personal injury, illicit possession of drugs, attempted extortion in competition and carrying weapons or objects capable of offending “.
The investigations were initiated by the Compagnia di Pioltello (Milan) following the killing of the 21-year-old, stabbed in the course of a fight that took place, in fact, on the evening of 29 September 2021, when two gangs of young people confronted each other coming from Vimercate (Monza and Brianza) and Pessano con Bornago (Milan) for an alleged settling of scores resulting from a dispute over the sale of a drug consignment.

Shortly before midnight on 21 September 2021 the carabinieri of the Pioltello company and the 118 staff intervened on the spot: the rescuers in the street had found a 15-year-old Italian with a head injury, they had transported him to the Melzo hospital where he had been hospitalized not in danger of life. And they had found the 21-year-old, also Italian, with various stab wounds to the chest. There had been nothing for him to do. In the nearby park in via della Vigna the soldiers had found wooden sticks and porphyry cubes, probably used by young people, about twenty in all, during the fight, there were also knives, and one, without traces of blood, was been found in the grass.
