Bari, beaches and kiosks-bars on removable structures: this is how the seafront comes back to life by day and by night
Removable and modular structures. Thus the whole Bari seafront, and not just the center, comes back to life in the summer both during the day and in the evening. From the novelty of the four San Girolamo kiosks, to the confirmation of the beaches (three for summer 2022) on the coast between Torre Quetta and San Giorgio.

The first two concession kiosks, in the waterfront area on the north coast of the city, were inaugurated as early as May 31st by the mayor Antonio Decaro. And within the next week two more will be added, chiringuito style, for the sale of drinks and food without cooking available to bathers on the IX Maggio promenade. The concession of the premises of San Girolamo, in addition to offering additional services a few meters from the shoreline, is a response of local traders to the suspicion of pressure from crime on the recent announcements of the Municipality.
On the southern coast of the Apulian capital, passing Torre Quetta, work is progressing on via Alfredo Giovine to build three private beaches under state concession: the now inevitable Doremar (from 2017), the return of Mokambo and a third structure still to be built . These are ballasted steel platforms, covered with a wooden floor, which do not come into contact with the rock to avoid damage to the coastal landscape.

Accessibility will also be guaranteed for people with disabilities, with a bar and an adjoining covered area equipped with tables. There are also toilets, changing rooms and lockers to allow vacationers to keep their personal belongings. That area, however, had been cordoned off to defend the hatching of the refectory eggs, a protected wild bird.
