Vestiaire Collective, the world’s leading second-hand fashion reseller app, and LuisaViaRoma, one of the world’s leading fashion e-tailers, join forces to promote faster, simpler and more informed ways of shopping.
Thanks to the partnership, all LuisaViaRoma customers will be able to take advantage of a new resale service via a dedicated and intuitive web interface on the LuisaViaRoma website. After uploading the required information, customers will receive a quote for their pre-loved product within 48 hours; once the product has arrived at one of Vestiaire Collective’s hubs and has passed the quality and authentication checks, they will receive a payment in the form of a LuisaViaRoma gift card within 4 working days. To those who use the service, the dedicated LuisaViaRoma X Vestiaire Collective team will provide continuous assistance throughout the experience. The products sold by LuisaViaRoma customers will be available for purchase all over the world on Vestiaire Collective through a dedicated account page.
The platform will initially be available in Italy and will allow the resale of bags, shoes, accessories and prêt-à-porter of 46 luxury women’s clothing brands (including Balenciaga, Dior, Gucci and Prada). Both LuisaViaRoma and Vestiaire Collective aim to implement this resale service in other European countries and to expand the selection of luxury brands included in the project by the end of 2022.
This collaboration is a fundamental part of LuisaViaRoma’s strategy to offer innovative and more conscious shopping experiences and continues Vestiaire Collective’s mission to transform the fashion industry for a more sustainable future. Both companies, through this synergy, intend to reach an even wider audience and make awareness an integral part of their customers’ journey.
