1. WandaVision: amazing and canon series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
The first series to be counted among those to be recovered without ifs and buts is proper WandaVision. Miniseries from 9 episodes based on the characters of Marvel Comics Wanda Maximoff and Vision.
Three weeks after the events of Avengers: EndgameWanda Maximoff and Vision they live an idyllic life in the quiet town of Westview, in New Jersey, trying to keep their powers hidden. The first episodes have tones over the topwith moments even in black and white which seem to come straight from old vintage VHS.
However the colors will soon come back to animate the screenand indeed, the situations out of reality experienced by our protagonists they will find a crude explanation but no less convincing, within a few episodes. And it is precisely when we begin to put the pieces of this complicated mosaic together, that you can appreciate even more all the characters involved, Wanda in primis.
They are not missing fighting, visual and digital effects brought to the stage masterfully, to remind us that actually what is being reproduced is a product Marvel. So the episodes, however, flow well and the events in sequence they can only keep viewers glued to the screen waiting for the next move.
Furthermore this series is if not mandatory, highly recommended in order to understand the evolution that the character of Wanda has and the motivations that animate it throughout the entire film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
2. Loki: The God of Deception cannot be ignored
The highly recommended second Marvel series on Disney + is undoubtedly Loki, which features the homonymous character. This product, like WandaVision, adds pieces to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although it does so differently.
In fact, if in WandaVision what we find in the films is the evolution of the character of Wanda, what is contained in Loki will be found in the MCU on a more practical level. The whole series deals with the different ones timelinesOf their check and what can happen if this check fails. Very useful notions then to better understand how the Multiverse works, although in this case we speak of timelines of a single universe and not of several worlds.
However, the characters that appear in Loki, starting with him, Thor’s half-brotherthey are all iconic, as well as Sylvie And Mobius, played by Owen Wilson. The series perhaps suffers from some ups and downs in tension and writing, but no less memorable for this. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to recover as soon as possible.
3. Hawkeye: The Hawkeye series deserves a chance
We close this list with the latest series which, to date, is worthy of viewing and retrieval within the Marvel ones featured on Disney +, Hawkeye. Also this series, like Loki, is based on the character of the same name that is evident from the title, Hawk eye for us Italians. The miniseries, consisting of six episodes, unfolds after events of the movie Avengers: Endgame, and in the The timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is to be placed, however, immediately after Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In itself the series has one very linear and simple plot. Survived the umpteenth battle fought in the ranks of the Avengers, Clint Barton is shown to the public in an unprecedented light which emphasizes his for the first time weaknesses. In fact, we learn to know and discover his ailmentsdue precisely to the too many struggles in which he took part.
Clint was one of those to survive Thanos’ snap, finding himself for five years living without friends and without family. And it is precisely those five years that have passed to do the lone executioner who now come back to haunt him. In order to close the accounts with one’s past, however, Hawkeye needs helpand at his side appears for the first time young Kate Bishop. The student with a passion for archery, manages to break through Clint’s heartconvincing him to get help from his skill with a bow and arrow.
The two have only one mission; quickly defeat the baddies so that Clint can get back to his family in time for Christmas. However, there is no shortage twists and characters that have already appeared in other films, to put a spoke in the wheel of this dynamic duo who, however, will give us many action scenes accompanied by very tender and profound moments. Also, just following the series A spin-off series has been announced with Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez / Echo which is currently in development for Disney +.
