Comix Games, at the Book Fair students celebrate between rap and word games with Repubblica @ Scuola

“We are always wild students”. The boys and girls who participated in the grand final say it loud Comix Games, now in its tenth edition, staged at the Turin International Book Fair. It is much more than a sentence, indeed in reality a tautogram, but they have also reiterated it with an acrostic and in the challenge to the sound of rap “bars”. Some behind the mask, some taking it off only for the highlights, but each with the desire to make the generation’s enthusiasm feel, enthusiasm that invaded the red room at the Lingotto for the last round of the national ludolinguistics competition for middle schools and above organized by Comix (Franco Cosimo Panini Publisher) in collaboration with Republic @ School And Book Fairwith partner Egyptian Museum, Mondadori, Bper Banca and MarinoBus.

To win, addressing the theme (and also the theme of the Salone) “Wild Hearts”among the institutes superior was the De ‘Liguori of Sant’Agata dei Goti (Benevento)in particular the students of the group “I would like to but I cannot”, and for the middleAll-inclusive institute of Orte (Viterbo). The two school groups won the title of national champions among 14 schools you arrive from all over Italy for the final of the linguistic marathon, winning the favor of the judges Federico Pacejournalist of the Republic, Teresa Panini by Franco Cosimo Panini Editore, Franco BarboliniComix editorial coordinator and writer Marco Magnone.

Before the final, the boys competed in a series of online challenges from October to April, including tautograms and lipograms, participating with thousands of contributions. At the beginning of May, the 14 schools confirmed their position in the final with the appointment at the Salone to challenge each other and, beyond the result, to celebrate all together.

“Whoever – recited the stanzas of a tautogram that like the others was created by the boys in just 15 minutes on the theme” Wild Hearts “- fill us with charisma” and again “understand courage, compassion. Let them call us compact companions”. They proved to be for sure in the most awaited moment of the grand final, presented by Orazio Cerino, that is the challenge to the sound of rap: on the notes of Maneskin but also of Fedez and many other artists who gave the right notes to the students who, perhaps sometimes with a little embarrassment, gave space to their imagination and fun with puns and rhymes.

However, not everyone could get on the podium. In the middle school ranking, the silver medal went to Manzoni of Cisternino (Brindisi) and in third place the middle school Moscati of Pontecagnano Faiano (Salerno). Among the high schools, school ranks second Duni-Levi of Matera and to the third the students of Galileo Ferraris scientific high school in Turin. To welcome the winners, Comix backpacks and diaries. Great enthusiasm for the organizers, including Silvia Stagi Comix who thanked children, teachers and parents who, in turn, marked and filled the two hours of the final with applause and cheers.
